Raspberry buffet

My brother is in the line now. No food. He did say though that alot of people are joining their friends now which is making the line in front of him longer, but he's still confident he'll get in.

"The Diner" just brought milk shakes round to fans in the queue, so looks like the tweet was true. No food though. And would the people who are turning up now and jumping the queue bear a thought for those who have been standing outside all day long. You jumping in front of them puts them further back in the line and those far back who might have stood a chance of getting in now might not because you have pushed in. Think about that.

Did you get a milk shake? My brother just phoned to say that people were handing out milk shakes to the crowd. Looks like "The Diner" tweet was authentic, though he did say there was no food so not sure what happened to that. Hope you get in and have a great time.

A fan from Leeds tweeted Kiran about Prince playing in Leeds at a venue or his house, tweeted him back asking for his address, might be nothing but may also mean some sort of mini tour, could be gauging demand before it's all finalised

This is all a bit weird for me. Like every1 on here I class myself as a die hard prince fan and have been since I first heard little red corvette in about 82/83 - I was 12. I class myself as extremely 4tunate to have seen the 3rd of his 3 parade shows at Wembley and saw at least 1 night of every tour until 1 night alone. Saw him again, twice, during the 21 nights, 1st and last night, including aftershows. Now I live 250+ miles away from London in north wales, he's never even played Cardiff let alone north wales - and never will. am I gutted I can't get to the gigs? u bet I am, would I drop everything and stand in a cold rain soaked queue to see him if I lived within an hour of London? u bet I would. Is it his fault I can't, nooooo. Yeah I wish it was a uk tour (as the continuing hash tag on twitter is suggesting) but it's not - yet. If it becomes one, I'll gladly join the telephone queue, whatever the weather, however long it takes. Has this put my life time obsession in question - nooooo. We love prince, we accept who he is, what he is and the ways things are. Real prince fans who are lucky enough to live in London will/should c him 2night and good luck 2 them, I hope they get thoroughly rewarded 4 their devotion!

No movement in the line yet despite the rumoured 6.30 door opening. However, it's kicking off in the line and those already in it are "chanting" at those who are turning up now and trying to push in.

Thats the problem with street queues, its mob rule... no on-site security or railings like you'd find at big venues

.

Stay safe guys

My brother has been in that line since 1.30 today. If he now doesn't get in because people are pushing in to the queue in front of him, that is way out of order. People should be shamed of themselves.

people r lucky they sell tickets one to one at the door. Pay and get in. at the first melkweg Amsterdam concert you could buy 4 tix and leave...so people who were queing for hours were left out because people bought tix for their friends who wanted to get in....Very unfair.....

I hear what you're saying but that's not quite the same as people turning up with out tickets and mingling into the queue now. It shits on all the people who have been there all day long.

If Electric Ballroom doesn't get some staff outside to sort out the crowd, there's going to be a riot. Those who have been standing outside all day are not taking kindly to those turning up now and pushing in. Sort it out Electric Ballroom!
